Encouraged by the success of the 2014 inaugural season, the Blancpain GT Series will be developed even more in 2015, with new venues like Misano and Moscow. The introduction of prize money in the Blancpain Endurance Series sees a growing number of teams participating in both Endurance and Sprint Series.<br />For 2015 the Blancpain Sprint Series brings a fresh and exciting look with a three-class structure guaranteed to generate spectacular action throughout the large grids. Titles will be awarded to three different class champions at the end of the season : Overall Classification, Silver Cup, reserved for Silver drivers aged 25 and under and the Pro-Am Cup classes.<br /><br />The Blancpain Endurance Series continues to be the world's most subscribed and best supported GT series with upwards of 55 cars racing at legendary tracks like Monza, Silverstone, Le Castellet, Nürburgring and of course the majestic Spa-Francorchamps where the jewel in the crown of endurance GT races takes place at the end of July -- the world famous Total 24 Hours of Spa. The number of teams entered in Pro Cup is at an unprecedented high level, competition in the Pro-Am Cup and Am Cup promises to be fierce as well.<br /><br />Some of the world's most iconic supercar brands will go wheel-to-wheel in 2015 as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes, Nissan and Porsche fight epic battles on some classic tracks. And with new cars from Audi, Lamborghini and McLaren, the Blancpain Endurance Series is sure to attract the interest of numerous race fans. The new Subaru WRX STI is available at Subaru retailers from spring 2017. A restyled front fascia of the Subaru WRX STI shows a sportier attitude, highlighted by a more aggressive front end with a larger lower grille opening. Both STI trims feature redesigned LED Steering Responsive Headlights that help illuminate curves in nighttime driving.... <br />https://www.netcarshow.com/subaru/2018-wrx_sti/ <br /> <br />2018 Nissan GTR: <br />It will use the engine from Nissan's 2015 Le Mans racer: Speaking to TopGear.com, Ben Bowlby - Nissan’s creative genius behind the LMP1 GT-R and the DeltaWing - confirmed that the new GT-R would feature an iteration of the twin-turbo V6 powering the company’s Le Mans entrant. “The 3.0-litre V6 [from the LMP1 car] is a sort of god-child of the true, road-going GT-R,” he said, noting that the unit’s direction injection, turbo integration and combustion technology are all ‘applicable to the road’... <br />https://www.topgear.com/car-ne....ws/supercar/2018-nis <br /> <br />2018 Subaru Ascent: <br />In terms of sales momentum, Subaru continues to ascend, a huge cartoon snowball somehow barreling uphill, picking up skiers, snowmobiles, and the odd yeti. It started with a U.S. sales record in 2009, when 216,652 Americans bought Subarus. Seven consecutive record years later, the brand came close to tripling that total, with 615,132 sales in 2016. Its industry-leading customer-retention rate means that more people come back to buy another Subaru than do the buyers of any other brand in the U.S. But there’s a limit to this momentum: Subaru customers regularly outgrow the brand’s lineup as they look for larger vehicles. Showcased as a plug-in hybrid e-tron model, the Q8 concept is powered by a 3.0-litre TFSI engine paired with an electric motor, which runs from a 17.9kWh lithium-ion battery. The powertrain develops a combined 438bhp and 700Nm of torque. Audi claims 0-62mph takes 5.4 seconds and the car has a top speed of 155mph, while it emits 53g/km of CO2. Power is delivered via an eight-speed automatic gearbox and quattro four-wheel drive. <br /> <br />2018 Porsche Cayenne: <br />The Cayenne's 250-kW (340 hp), three-litre turbo engine delivers 29 kW (40 hp) more than the previous model. The 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine in the Cayenne S, which reaches speeds of up to 265 km/h, brings it up to 324 kW (440 hp) - an increase of 15 kW (20 hp).
