game.com hardware review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the game.com from Tiger Electronics. Released in 1997, Tiger's game.com was a total failure at retail. It sold less than 300,000 units and became one of the worst selling consoles ever. But the game.com was actually quite ahead of its time, introducing a lot of features that have since become standard for handheld gaming consoles. Touch, online functionality, applications...all things that were built into the prophetic game.com. Maybe the world just wasn't ready for this.
